Mi último reel de mi último workshop. Solo puedo expresar felicidad por esta experiencia. Los tutores son asombrosos y los compañeros copadísimos. Muchísimas gracias a Michael Kiely (un excelente amigo), Claudio de Olivera (gran profesional), Chris Krishbaum (la rompe este flaco), Ken Fountain (excelente animador y excelente persona) y Ted Ty (maestro de maestros) y un agradecimiento muy especial a Jason Ryan por dejarme ser parte de esta genial experiencia y ser un gran profesor así como un gran animador. El mes pasado publiqué algunas cositas sobre estas personas (^_^)

¡2D tradicional a la clásica usanza nuevamente en el blog! The most Wanted es un western creado por Rodrigo Tabarez. Cuenta una historia de cowboys con un elemento particular. Está en producción ahora. Yo animé para él un efecto de sombra a la manera tradicional (papel y lápiz) y quedó algo así. Pronto la escena completa.

DREAM WORKS
El mes de junio fuí a la graduación de Ianimate a recoger mi diploma y conocer, aunque sea mínimamente, el estudio DreamWorks por dentro. Me hubiera gustado poder traer más documentación fotográfica pero a): no nos llevaron por los sectores de producción o animación , calculo que para que no se filtre material, b): no estaba permitido sacar fotos en muchas de las áreas donde me llevaron y no iba a ser yo el que se hiciera el paparazzi sacando fotos a escondidas y c): mi cámara apesta.:P En fin: aquí tienen unas fotos (poquitas y no demasiado reveladoras) del lugar más copado de Glendale.:)

Una de las últimas animaciones que hice en Gizmo. Un test del conejo de pascua para un comercial... eh... de pascua. Lo animé con un audio del Grinch y con una actitud un tanto siniestra. El comercial ya fué emitido pero esta escena no figura en él (quizás por ser tan siniestra :P)

Primera entrada del año. Les dejo acá un comercial portugués de un jugo de frutas llamado Umbongo . Una de las primeras cosas que hice en Gizmo allá por marzo, abril del 2012. Animé el comercial completo excepto la toma del hipopótamo. Hice 2 comerciales de estos pero el segundo no me gustó nada.

IMPROVISATION SERIES 3: MACHO ALFA / ALPHA MALE

¡Última entrada del año! (tal vez). Algunas noticias de mí. Me gradué de Ianimate finalmente (y en el mejor momento porque estaba demasiado exhausto) y ya formo parte del sector alumni de dicha página. Además presenté un guión para la serie de internet del sitio TEAM ULTIMATES (yo no hice nada en este epiodio) que fué aceptado y ahora lo estoy co- dirigiendo junto a Jason Ryan. Eso es para mí un gran honor. Por otro lado el corto PATH OF THE NINJA fué proyectado en Brasil, Chile y Argentina y aquí fué galardonado con el premio ASIFA EL APOSTOL (como habrán leído en la entrada del mes pasado). Este nuevo año tengo un par de proyectos para hacer como presentar una comedia animada y empezar a planificar un corto en animación tradicional de una estética bastante artística. Ojalá pueda hacer ambas cosas. El corto 3D ambicioso que queria empezar en el 2012 se cayó enseguida asíque ese se terminó descartando. Sigo trabajando duro e intento proyectarme al exterior, a la espera de algún estudio extranjero que guste lo suficiente de mi material para llamarme a formar parte de sus hordas :P. Eso es todo por ahora. Espero que tengan unas muy felices fiestas. Sobre ésta animación, pues nada: ésta es la 3º entrega de la serie de animación improvisada. Aquí utilizando un audio de MISTERY MEN y el increíble Chase de Marco Giordano.

Also i presented a script for the TEAM ULTIMATES (i did nothing in this episode) web serie of the school and was accepted and now i`m co-direct the webisode with Jason Ryan. It's a great honor to me. In other news the animated shortfilm PATH OF THE NINJA was proyected in Brazil, Chile and Argentina and was awared (in Argentina) with the ASIFA EL APOSTOL award ( as you read in the last month post). This new year i have a couple of goals, like present a project of an animated comedy serie and start to plan a 2d traditional animation shortfilm with an very artistic look. I hope can do both things. The ambicious 3D shortfilm that i planned in 2012 was a failure so that was canceled. I keep the hard work and try to project myself to other countries, hoping that some animation studio out there likes enough my work to call me and add me to his hordes :P. That's all for now. I hope you'll have a very happy hollydays. About this animation, well : this is the 3rd work of the "animated improvisation" series. Here using an audio of the MISTERY MEN motion picture and the incredible Chase from Marco Giordano
